55-Year-Old Injured in Truck Accident on I-20 in Harrison County, TX

Harrison County, TX — September 10, 2023, a 55-year-old was injured in a collision with a commercial truck around 1:52 p.m. on I-20 in Harrison County.

According to officials, the victim's Cadillac SRX was traveling west on the highway when, for some unreported reason, it veered off the road toward the driver's side. The victim reportedly attempted to regain control of the vehicle, but when the car began to steer back toward the road it collided with a stopped Volvo tractor-trailer.

The 55-year-old purportedly suffered serious injuries in the collision.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash. The semi-truck was reportedly pulled over due to a mechanical failure, the reason the sedan suddenly lost control has not been released.
