Keith Redford, Child Injured in Truck Accident in Hopkinsville, KY

Christian County, KY — October 3, 2023, Keith Redford and a child were injured following a truck accident at around 4:00 p.m. off Pembroke Road.

Authorities said in initial statements to local media that the crash occurred outside of Hopkinsville Elevator at 4895 Pembroke Road (U.S. Highway 41), just off Edwards Mill Road.

According to officials, Keith Redford was in a car that was going eastbound along the highway. Ahead, authorities say that a dump truck pulled out of the Hopkinsville Elevator onto eastbound lanes. In doing so, the dump truck and Redford's vehicle collided.

It appears that Redford was taken to a hospital via helicopter due to his injuries. A child in his vehicle had unspecified injuries and was reportedly taken to a hospital in a private vehicle. There were no other reported injuries. According to officials, no further information about the accident is available at this time.
