San Antonio, TX — October 2, 2023, a man sustained fatal injuries as the result of a suspected hit-and-run accident at 8:30 p.m. on Interstate 35.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the incident occurred under a bridge in the area of I-35 and Laredo Street.

According to current reports, emergency responders arrived on the scene to find an unidentified man unresponsive. That man reportedly had serious head trauma, and authorities say they believe the man was hit by a runaway driver.
