Driver Killed in Car Accident on Renshaw Street in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — September 29, 2023, a driver sustained fatal injuries following a car accident at around 9:20 p.m. along Renshaw Street.

Harris County officials reported that the crash happened in a residential area on Renshaw Street just off of Old Spanish Trail/U.S. 90-Alt.

According to officials, a 29-year-old man was reportedly in a car that was going along Renshaw Street. For reasons which are not clear at this time, the vehicle ran off the side of the road, continuing some distance until it crashed into the bayou.

Emergency responders were eventually able to recover the victim from their vehicle, saying the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have yet to report any potential cause for the crash, including whether or not other vehicles may have been involved. Investigations are ongoing.
