Carlos Valero Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Howard County, TX

Howard County, TX — September 26, 2023, Carlos Valero was killed in a single-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 20, west of Big Spring, in Howard County, TX.

Authorities indicate that on September 26, a fatal accident occurred when a vehicle crashed in Howard County for unknown reasons. According to reports, a Chevrolet Silverado was heading east along Interstate 20 when the crash happened. Police say the pickup attempted to take Exit 165 and allegedly approached the ramp without slowing down, causing the vehicle to overturn. The driver was reportedly thrown from the pickup during the crash.

Officials confirmed that the Chevrolet driver, Carlos Valero, 20, suffered fatal injuries. A passenger in the pickup was treated for injuries and released from the hospital.

No other injuries were reported.
