Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 84 in Mountain Home, ID

Mountain Home, ID — October 1, 2023, two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 84 at milepost 78 in Mountain Home, ID.

Authorities indicate that on October 1, an accident involving ten vehicles occurred in Mountain Home for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at milepost 78.

Investigators say a semi-truck was heading west on Interstate 84 when it crashed into several other vehicles. Sources say traffic was slowing down when the collision happened. Officials confirmed that a Kia driver and a Freightliner driver suffered injuries and were taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries. No additional information has been released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
