Deer Creek Reservoir, UT — October 1, 2023, a person was killed, and one was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 189 at milepost 20 in Wasatch County, near Deer Creek Reservoir, UT.

Authorities indicate that on October 1, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles collided near Deer Creek Reservoir. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately noon.

Investigators say a Ford pickup truck heading north along Interstate 189 collided with a southbound tractor-trailer for unknown reasons. The pickup reportedly veered off the road and burst into flames.

Officials confirmed that the Ford driver, whose name has not been released, was killed in the crash. The tractor-trailer driver reportedly had minor injuries. No further information has been released at this time.
