Staten Island, NY — September 29, 2023, a man was injured in a pedestrian-school bus accident at Constant Avenue and Westcott Boulevard in Staten Island, NY.

Authorities say that on September 29, an accident occurred when a school bus struck a pedestrian in Staten Island. According to reports, the accident happened just before 7:24 in the morning.

Investigators say the man was hit in the crosswalk at Constant Avenue and Westcott Boulevard. Sources say the school bus attempted to turn onto Constant Avenue when the crash occurred.

Officials confirmed the man was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. No students on board the school bus were injured.
