Driver Killed, Eight Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 285 in Clayton County, GA

Clayton County, GA — September 30, 2023, a driver was killed, and eight were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 285 West near Exit 58 in Clayton County, GA.

Authorities indicate that on September 30, a fatal accident occurred when several vehicles collided in Clayton County for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened along Interstate 285, near exit 58.

Investigators say an SUV struck the rear of an 18-wheeler on Interstate 285, which caused other vehicles to get hit. The cause of the collision has not been released, and few details are available at this time.
