Markea Flucas Killed in Car Accident on Wild Oak Drive in Harris County, TX

UPDATE (October 30, 2023): Authorities identified the woman killed in the accident as 32-year-old Markea Flucas. Additional details remain unclear.

Harris County, TX — September 30, 2023, a woman was fatally injured following a single-vehicle accident at approximately 3:04 a.m. on Wild Oak Drive.

Initial details about the crash were provided by Harris County officials who say the incident happened in the area of the Wild Oak Drive and Timberdale Lane, just off Cypress Creek Parkway.

According to officials, a woman was in a Jeep Liberty which was going southbound along Wild Oak Road. That vehicle then somehow went through an intersection and off-road where it crashed into a tree. The vehicle then caught fire.

As a result of the crash, the woman in the Jeep sustained fatal injuries. There did not appear to be any other passengers nor did there appear to be any other motorists involved. At this time, the cause of the crash remains unconfirmed.
