Richard Grubb Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX — September 30, 2023, Richard Grubb was killed following a hit-and-run accident at around 4:45 a.m. along F.M. 1942.

Authorities reported that the fatal accident happened in the Crosby Area near the intersection of Farm-to-Market 1942 and Holy Road, north of Crosby Barbers Hill Road.

According to current information from Harris County officials, Richard Grubb was on a motorized bicycle reportedly going along the southbound lanes of F.M. 1942. While doing so, authorities say that a vehicle somehow hit Grubb along the shoulder, then left the scene.

As a result of the collision, Grubb succumbed to fatal injuries early October 1. Authorities have not reported any details about the suspect driver as their investigations are ongoing.
