2 Killed in Motorcycle Accident on South Loop 610 West in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — October 1, 2023, a man and a woman were killed due to a motorcycle accident after midnight along South Loop 610 West.

According to preliminary details about the accident, the crash happened at approximately 12:25 a.m. in the Loop 610 and South Post Oak Road intersection.

Investigators said that a 34-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were both riding a motorcycle traveling southbound along the interstate. At the Post Oak Road split, it appears the motorcycle somehow went out of its lane where it then crashed into a wall.

due to the collision, both the man and the woman were ejected from the bike, resulting in fatal injuries. There were no other motorists mentioned in initial reported by authorities. It's unclear at this time what factors may have led up to the crash.
