Meagan Leeann Roiter Killed, Abby Alexander, Christian Pearson Injured in Hit-and-run Accident in Fort Worth, TX

UPDATE (October 25, 2023): Information from the public said that Abby Alexander was pregnant at the time, and that the unborn child also died in the wreck. It also appears that the driver allegedly responsible for the crash is being sought by authorities at this time.

UPDATE (October 12, 2023): Officials released information identifying the victims hurt in the accident that killed Meagan Roiter. They were 28-year-old Abby Lynn Alexander and 29-year-old Christian Scott Pearson, both in the same vehicle as Roiter. Right now, there is still no word on if authorities have identified the runaway driver.

Fort Worth, TX — September 24, 2023, Meagan Roiter was killed following a hit-and-run accident at around 12:20 a.m. along the Airport Freeway.

Investigators said in preliminary reports that the incident happened along Highway 121 in the area of North Sylvania Avenue.

According to officials, a crash occurred along the freeway involving at least two vehicles. Following this collision, one of the drivers reportedly got out of their vehicle and fled the scene on foot. That person was not described, and there is no indication authorities have made any arrests.

Due to the accident, one person was killed. Tarrant County officials identified the victim as 30-year-old Meagan Roiter. There were apparently two other injuries resulting from the accident, though the severity of the injuries is unclear.
