Debra Hutchings Injured in Car Accident in Longview, TX

Longview, TX — September 15, 2023, Debra Hutchings was injured following a car accident at approximately 8:02 p.m. along Twelfth Street.

Authorities said in their statements that the incident took place in the area of the Twelfth Street and Dean Street intersection.

According to officials, 59-year-old Debra Hutchings was walking at the time along Twelfth Street. While reportedly attempting to cross the roadway, a southbound vehicle struck Hutchings. That vehicle then reportedly left the scene.

Authorities say that Hutchings sustained incapacitating injuries as a result of this collision. The alleged runaway driver was found, according to authorities, and was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. There were noted recommendations for DWI charges, however nothing further can be confirmed at this time.
