Eric Anthony Martinez Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Freestone County, TX

Freestone County, TX — September 3, 2023, Eric Anthony Martinez was injured following a single-vehicle car accident at around 6:35 p.m. along F.M. 80.

Initial details about the accident say that it occurred in the area of the Farm-to-Market 80 and County Road 820 intersection.

Authorities said that 36-year-old Eric Anthony Martinez was in a Ford F-150 said to be going southbound along the roadway. While rounding a curve, the vehicle somehow lost control, causing it to veer off the left side of the road. There, the pickup overturned through a fence line.

Due to the crash, Martinez sustained injuries which authorities described as incapacitating. There did not appear to be anyone else in the vehicle, and no other motorists were mentioned, either. At this time, the cause of the accident cannot be confirmed.
