Authorities said that 22-year-old Brianna Marie Lopez was in a vehicle traveling along the northbound lanes of Chisholm Trail. While doing so, it appears that a pickup was going the wrong direction, causing it to collided head-on into Lopez's vehicle.

Due to the collision, Lopez sustained fatal injuries. The other driver reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries. That driver is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol, and there appear to be pending charges for intoxication manslaughter. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
