Two Injured in Car Accident on Highway 161 in Grand Prairie, TX

Grand Prairie, TX — September 10, 2023, two people sustained injuries as the result of a car accident at around 1:21 a.m. along Highway 161.

Investigators said that the incident happened at the intersection of Highway 161 and Dalworth Street.

According to preliminary statements, a 38-year-old Grand Prairie man was in a Chevy Tahoe said to be going along westbound Dalworth. At the intersection, the Tahoe crashed with a northbound Ford F-150 driven by a 60-year-old Mesquite man.

As a result of the collision, the Grand Prairie man sustained incapacitating injuries. The Mesquite man sustained apparently non-incapacitating injuries. Right now, no further information about the crash can be confirmed.
