Robert Earl Smith Sr. Injured in Car Accident in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — September 14, 2023, Robert Earl Smith Sr. was injured following a single-vehicle car accident at around 10:23 p.m. on WW White Road.

Authorities said in preliminary statements on the crash that it occurred in the area of the South W. W. White Road and I-10 service road intersection.

According to officials, 62-year-old Robert Earl Smith Sr. was the driver of a Suzuki said to be going northbound along W. W. White. In a series of events which aren't entirely clear, the vehicle went off the left side of the road. The vehicle then crashed into a pole.

As a result of the accident, Smith sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. There did not appear to be any other vehicles involved, and no other injuries were reported. At this time, the cause of the crash remains unconfirmed.
