Cory Claypoole Injured in Truck Accident in Chicora, PA

Chicora, PA — September 26, 2023, Cory Claypoole was injured following a box truck accident at around 4:00 p.m. on Main Street.

Authorities said in their statements that the crash happened at the intersection of Main Street and East Slippery Rock Street.

According to officials, 32-year-old Cory Claypoole was on a motorcycle traveling through the intersection. As Claypoole crossed, authorities say a box truck turning onto southbound Main Street entered the path of the motorcycle. The two vehicles then collided.

Claypoole sustained injuries described as serious. There were no other reported injuries. At this time, it's unclear if any charges or citations were filed. Investigations appear to be ongoing.
