Christopher N. Brown Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in Polk County, TX

Polk County, TX — August 23, 2023, Christopher N. Brown was injured as the result of a tractor-trailer accident at around 6:38 a.m. along U.S. Highway 59.

Preliminary information about the accident indicate that the collision happened along the southbound lanes of the highway near mile marker 440.

According to officials, 40-year-old Christopher N. Brown was in a Chevy Cruze going along the highway. A tractor-trailer ahead reportedly came to a stop, but the Cruze somehow crashed underneath the back of the trailer.

Due to the collision, Brown reportedly sustained incapacitating injuries. There were no other reported injuries due to the crash. At this time, additional details regarding factors leading up to the crash are unavailable.
