Sathasivam Nandakumar Injured in Alleged Intoxicated Driver Accident in Belton, TX

Belton, TX — September 9, 2023, Sathasivam Nandakumar was injured in an alleged intoxicated driver accident at around 2:30 a.m. along Interstate 35.

Initial details from authorities investigating the accident say that it happened in the area of northbound I-35 mile marker 289.

According to officials, 51-year-old Sathasivam Nandakumar was in a Toyota Prius going along the interstate. Due to events not entirely clear, a Nissan Altima struck Nandakumar's vehicle from behind, forcing it over to the right.

As a result of the collision, Nandakumar reportedly sustained incapacitating injuries. The Nissan driver did not have reportedly injuries. Authorities alleged that the Nissan driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. There were reportedly pending charges for intoxication assault, however further information cannot be confirmed right now.
