Motorcyclist Injured in Truck Accident on Old Cheney Road in Lincoln, NE

Lincoln, NE — September 20, 2023, a motorcyclist sustained injuries following a box truck accident at around 9:00 a.m. on Old Cheney Road.

Lincoln area authorities and emergency responders were called out to the intersection of Old Cheney Road and 58th Street, just off Nebraska Parkway.

According to current information in the news, the incident occurred as a motorcyclist was traveling eastbound along Old Cheney. At 58th Street, authorities said that a box truck turning onto 58th "struck" the motorcycle.

After the accident, the motorcyclist was taken from the scene with reportedly serious injuries. There were no other reported injuries. Currently, no charges or citations have been reported, and the exact cause of the accident remains unclear.
