One Injured in Truck Accident on I-45 NB in Freestone County, TX

Freestone County, TX — August 28, 2023, one person was injured in a collision with a commercial truck around 12:15 p.m. on I-45 NB in Freestone County.

According to authorities, the victim was traveling in a red Ford Focus when their vehicle allegedly rear-ended a northbound Freightliner tractor-trailer. The impact purportedly forced the Focus off the eastern side of the road in a rollover accident. Officials report the Focus came to rest on its driver's side with its nose pointing southeast.

The Ford Focus driver reportedly sustained serious injuries and was taken to a medical enter by first responders.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
