Crosby County, TX — September 21, 2023, Robert Hurd was killed in a bicycle-car collision on Highway 62/82 in Crosby County, TX.

Authorities say that on September 21, a fatal accident occurred when a bicyclist and a vehicle collided in Crosby County. According to reports, the crash happened before 9:00 a.m. near Lorenzo.

Investigators say the bicyclist was traveling eastbound along the Highway 62/82 shoulder when the crash happened. Police stated that the bicyclist allegedly veered into the pickup's lane and was struck by the truck. Additional details have not been released as authorities are still investigating the events that led to the crash.

Officials confirmed the bicyclist, Robert Hurd, 62, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.
