Alice Man Injured in Tractor-Trailer Accident on F.M. 99 in Karnes County, TX

Karnes County, TX — July 6, 2023, an Alice man sustained injuries as the result of a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident at 10:40 a.m. along F.M. 99.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash happened off the side of the westbound lane of Farm-to-Market 99 near the County Road 189 intersection.

According to initial details, a 44-year-old Alice man was in a Western Star tractor-trailer going westbound along the roadway. Due to events which cannot be confirmed with current public information, the vehicle ended up traveling off the right side of the road. This led to the semi-truck overturning.

The Alice man sustained incapacitating injuries due to the crash, authorities say. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. There are no additional details to be reported at this time.
