Roberto Specia Jr. Injured in Car Accident in Haslet, TX

Haslet, TX — August 17, 2023, Roberto Specia Jr. was injured following a truck accident at around 10:58 a.m. along Highway 156.

According to investigations, the incident happened in the area of Highway 156 and Blue Mound Road. It appears that 22-year-old Roberto Specia Jr. was in a Subaru traveling through the intersection, reportedly with a green light. At the crossing, a semi-truck reportedly went through a red light, crashing into Specia's vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Specia had injuries described as incapacitating. It does not appear that anyone else was hurt. Authorities recommended a citation for disregarding a red light, but it's unclear if there have been any official charges.
