One Killed in Pedestrian-Auto Accident on Westheimer Road in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — September 18, 2023, a person was killed in a pedestrian-auto accident near the 11800 block of Westheimer Road in Harris County, Houston, TX.

Authorities say that on September 18, a fatal accident occurred when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Harris County for unknown reasons. According to reports, the collision happened around 5:40 in the morning.

Investigators say a man attempted to cross southbound on Westheimer Road when a Toyota Venza hit him. Officials confirmed the pedestrian, who has not been identified, died at the accident scene. No other injuries were reported, and no additional information has been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
