Marlboro County, SC — September 19, 2023, one person was killed, and one was injured in a truck-SUV accident on Highway 15 in Marlboro County, Bennettsville, SC.

Authorities say that on September 19, a fatal accident occurred when a Chevrolet SUV and a box truck collided in Marlboro County. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 4:25 in the afternoon.

Investigators say the Chevrolet SUV was heading northbound, and the box truck was traveling south on Highway 15 when they crashed. The cause of the crash has not been released at this time.

Officials confirmed that the box truck driver, whose name has not been released, was killed in the crash. The SUV driver reportedly sustained injuries and was taken to an area hospital for medical attention. The extent of the injuries is unknown. No other injuries were reported.
