Two Injured in 18-wheeler Accident on I-10 in Pecos County, TX
Pecos County, TX — July 9, 2023, two people were injured following a semi-truck accident at around 2:28 p.m. along Interstate 10.
According to preliminary information about the accident, the crash took place along the eastbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 237.

Statements show that a 50-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Toyota 4Runner towing another vehicle reportedly going along I-10. For reasons which are not clear at this time, an 18-wheeler crashed into the back of the Toyota, causing the towed vehicle to break loose and overturn.
As a result of the collision, the Toyota driver had apparently incapacitating injuries. The truck driver reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries. There appeared to be a recommended failure to control speed citation against the truck driver, but nothing can be confirmed right now.
