Man Injured in 18-wheeler Accident on Highway 146 in Polk County, TX

Polk County, TX — July 10, 2023, a man sustained injuries following an 18-wheeler accident at around 10:02 a.m. along Highway 146.

Investigators said in their statements that the crash took place at the intersection of Highway 146 and Granbury Lease Road.

According to currently available information, a 22-year-old man was in an Infiniti G37 reportedly going southbound along the highway. Ahead, it appears an 18-wheeler also traveling southbound was in the process of making a right turn. As it did so, the Infiniti crashed into the back of the trailer.

As a result of the collision, the 22-year-old man had incapacitating injuries. There did not appear to be any other confirmed injuries. Right now, an exact cause for the crash remains unconfirmed.
