Spicewood Man Injured in Alleged Intoxicated Driver Accident on R.M. 620 in Lakeway, TX

Travis County, TX — June 25, 2023, a Spicewood man sustained injuries after an alleged intoxicated driver accident at around midnight along R.M. 620.

Preliminary information released about the crash indicate that it happened at approximately 12:05 a.m. off the corner of R.M. 620 and Glen Heather Drive.

Authorities said that a 65-year-old Spicewood man was on a Harley-Davidson traveling northbound along R.M. 620. While merging lanes, it appears a Ford Fusion struck the motorcycle. This forced the Spicewood man off the bike, and he sustained injuries described as incapacitating.

It appears the driver of the Ford was accused of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Details suggest that driver was arrested for intoxication assault. Official details about potential charges are unavailable right now.
