Two Injured in Tractor-Trailer Accident on Route 50 in Bowie, MD

Bowie, MD — September 19, 2023, two people were injured in a tractor-trailer collision on Route 50 at Collington Road in Bowie, MD.

Authorities indicate that on September 19, an accident occurred when a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer collided in Bowie for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened shortly before 3:30 in the morning.

Investigators have not released the cause of the crash, and few details are currently available. Officials stated that the two trucks collided at westbound Route 50 and Collington Road and that both drivers were injured. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time. The drivers were reportedly transported to an area hospital for medical attention. No other injuries were reported.
