Brandon Followell Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Buda, TX

Buda, TX — August 20, 2023, Brandon Followell was killed and one person was injured following a car accident at around 2:41 a.m. along I-35.

Preliminary details released about the accident indicate that the incident happened along northbound lanes of the interstate in the area of Turnersville Road.

According to officials, 22-year-old Brandon Followell was riding in a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 23-year-old man northbound along Interstate 35. The vehicle apparently ran onto the grassy median where it crashed into a barrier, then flipped over.

Details show that Followell died as a result of the crash. The driver, who was reportedly ejected during the accident, had apparently incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were reported. No further information about the crash can be confirmed at this time.
