Gaither Paul Brice Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Limestone County, TX

Limestone County, TX — August 20, 2023, Gaither Paul Brice was killed as the result of a single-vehicle accident at around 2:28 a.m. along Highway 164.

Authorities said in preliminary public statements that the accident took place near the intersection of the highway and F.M. 1953.

Investigators said that 48-year-old Gaither Paul Brice was in a Polaris Slingshot going westbound along Highway 164. It appears there was a cow in the roadway, and Brice swerved to avoid it. This led to the Slingshot running off-road where it crashed into a tree line.

Due to the collision, Brice suffered fatal injuries. No others were said to have been involved in the accident. Details about where the cow came from were not mentioned in reports. No further information is available at this time.
