James Whitworth Injured in Truck Accident on I-30 in Hopkins County, TX

Hopkins County, TX — August 27, 2023, James Whitworth was injured in a commercial truck accident around 2:34 p.m. on I-30 in Hopkins County.

According to authorities, Mr. Whitworth's motorcycle had just exited I-30 EB and entered the service road when it collided with an eastbound Volvo semi-truck. The collision reportedly caused the motorcycle to overturn onto its right side and eject the victim.

James Whitworth, 43, was purportedly taken to a medical center with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
