Brandon Dwayne Hutson Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Atascosa, TX

Bexar County, TX — August 16, 2023, Brandon Dwayne Hutson sustained fatal injuries due to a hit-and-run accident on 9:26 p.m. along I-35.

Preliminary details about the accident said that it happened along northbound lanes of the access road in the area of Luckey Road.

According to officials, 46-year-old Brandon Dwayne Hutson was walking at the time and reportedly on the service road. It's unclear if Hutson was walking along the road or attempting to cross. While doing so, authorities say a vehicle struck Hutson, then fled the scene.

Hutson ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries following transport to a hospital, details say. It's unclear if authorities have been able to identify the driver or details about the vehicle they're looking for. No further information can be confirmed.
