Muzainie Shepherd-Hilliard, Larance Dove Injured in Car Accident in Angelina County, TX

Angelina County, TX — August 27, 2023, Muzainie Shepherd-Hilliard and Larance Dove were injured following a car accident around midnight on F.M. 2251.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the incident happened at approximately 12:15 a.m. in the area of F.M. 2251 and Plez Road.

According to officials, 21-year-old Muzainie Shepherd-Hilliard was in a Dodge Ram going northbound along F.M. 2251. 63-year-old Larance Dove was the driver of a Mitsubishi reportedly going southbound. For reasons which can't be confirmed right now, the two vehicles collided head-on into each other.

Due to the collision, Dove was said to have incapacitating injuries while Shepherd-Hilliard had reportedly non-incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, no further information is available.
