Jorge Martinez Martinez, 5 Injured in Car Accident in Arlington, TX

Arlington, TX — August 26, 2023, Jorge Martinez Martinez and at least five others were injured after a car accident at 8:44 p.m. on Green Oaks Boulevard.

Preliminary public information from authorities indicates that the crash took place at the intersection of Green Oaks and Creek Valley Drive.

In their statements, officials said that 51-year-old Jorge Martinez Martinez was in a Kia Spectra going eastbound along Green Oaks. While reportedly attempting a left turn onto Creek Valley, the Kia and a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 40-year-old man collided.

Due to this crash, Martinez sustained incapacitating injuries, authorities said. There were also at least five people in the Jeep that were injured two of which also reportedly had incapacitating injuries. Authorities indicated they investigated alcohol as a possible factor in the crash, but nothing can be officially confirmed at this time.
