Claudia Guadalupe Castillo Killed, Jimmy Setchfield Injured in Car Accident in Schleicher County, TX

Schleicher County, TX — September 15, 2023, Claudia Guadalupe Castillo was killed and Jimmy Setchfield was injured after a car accident late Friday on Highway 190.

Preliminary information released about the fatal incident says that the crash happened just outside of Eldorado at approximately 10:15 p.m.

According to officials, 38-year-old Claudia Guadalupe Castillo was in a Chevy Silverado reportedly going westbound along the highway. 66-year-old Jimmy Setchfield was in an eastbound Dodge 1500. One of the vehicles was apparently passing when a head-on collision occurred, involving a third vehicle.

Due to the collision, Guadalupe Castillo sustained fatal injuries. Setchfield's injuries were said to be incapacitating. No other injuries were confirmed. Right now, no further information about the accident can be confirmed.
