Mark Prueter, Robert Prueter, Barbara Prueter Injured in Truck Accident in Darke County, OH

Darke County, OH — September 17, 2023, Mark Prueter, Robert Prueter, and Barbara Prueter were injured following a truck accident around noon on U.S. 127.

Authorities said in their statements that the accident took place at approximately 12:04 p.m. in the area of U.S. Highway 127 and State Route 705.

According to officials, 49-year-old Mark Prueter, 75-year-old Robert Prueter, and 75-year-old Barbara Prueter were in a Chevy Trailblazer said to be going southbound along U.S. 127. While doing so, authorities say that a Kenworth 18-wheeler "failed to stop" at the U.S. 127 and Route 705 intersection. This resulted in the two vehicles colliding.

Mark Prueter, Robert Prueter, and Barbara Prueter sustained reportedly minor injuries due to the accident. Right now, reports say the truck driver received a citation for failure to yield. No further information is available at this time.
