Several Injured in Movie Theater-Car Accident in Odessa, TX

Odessa, TX — September 16, 2023, several people were injured in a movie theater-vehicle collision at 8250 Highway 191 in Odessa, TX.

Authorities say that on September 16, a single-vehicle crash occurred in Odessa for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 9:00 at night.

Investigators say a car crashed into the north side of a Cinergy movie theater along Highway 191. A preliminary investigation suggests the driver of the vehicle may have accidentally accelerated through the movie theater entrance, but this has not been confirmed. Few details have been released as authorities determine what led to the crash.

Officials say the vehicle driver and several others inside the theater sustained minor injuries. No further information is currently available.
