John Langhorne Jr. Killed in Alleged Intoxicated Driver Accident in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — September 17, 2023, John Langhorne Jr. was killed after an alleged intoxicated driver accident at around 1:30 a.m. on Wurzbach Road.

Authorities said in their initial statements that the incident happened in the area of the Lockhill Selma Road and Wurzbach Road intersection.

According to current information from officials, the incident involved 59-year-old John Langhorne Jr., who was riding a red Vespa along Wurzbach Road. While Langhorne reportedly attempted to make a protected left turn, a Range Rover hit Langhorne.

Due to the collision, Langhorne sustained fatal injuries. There did not appear to be any other confirmed injured parties. Following the accident, current reports say that the Range Rover driver was investigated and then arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Right now, official charges are unclear pending further statements from authorities.
