Woman Killed, One Injured in Motorcycle-Truck Accident in Imlay City, MI

Imlay City, MI — May 28, 2023, one was killed, and one was injured in a motorcycle-truck crash on Cedar Street between Newark Road and Borland Road in Imlay City, MI.

Authorities indicate that on May 28, a fatal crash occurred when two motorcycles and a Ford pickup collided in Imlay City for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 2:16 in the afternoon.

Investigators say two motorcycles were headed north along Cedar Street when the collision happened. Police say the motorcycles were about to turn into a store parking lot when they collided with the Ford pickup. Sources say the Ford attempted a left turn from the store parking lot onto Cedar Street.

Officials confirmed a woman riding one of the motorcycles suffered fatal injuries. The second motorcyclist, the woman's husband, reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for medical attention. Sources say the man had broken his leg and ribs.

Authorities say the Ford driver may have had injuries, but this has not been confirmed. No additional information has been released at this time.
