Four Injured in Car Accident on Highway 84 in Lubbock, TX

Lubbock, TX — June 6, 2023, four people were injured in a car collision on Highway 84 near County Road 2900 in Lubbock, TX.

Authorities indicate that on June 6, an accident occurred when two vehicles collided in Lubbock for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened just after 4:30 in the afternoon.

Investigators say a vehicle heading northwest along Highway 84 attempted to enter back into traffic after attempting a wrong turn. Police say that as the car tried to enter the traffic lane, it drove into the path of an oncoming pickup truck and was hit.

Officials confirmed the vehicle driver and a passenger suffered severe injuries and were transported to an area hospital. Two pickup truck occupants received medical attention at the crash scene.
