Woman Killed in Pedestrian-Auto Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — June 1, 2023, a woman was killed in a pedestrian-auto accident at 10500 Richmond Avenue and Rogerdale Road in Harris County, Houston, TX.

Authorities indicate that on June 1, a fatal accident occurred when a pedestrian was struck by a car in Harris County. According to reports, the accident happened at approximately 1:45 in the afternoon.

Investigators say the woman was standing at the intersection of Richmond Avenue and Rogerdale Road when she was struck by a pickup truck. Police say a Toyota Tundra approached the intersection, and as the woman entered the roadway, she was hit by the Toyota.

Officials confirmed the female pedestrian, whose name has not been released, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the events that led to the accident.
