Joshua Ethridge Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 40 in Amarillo, TX

Amarillo, TX — September 11, 2023, Joshua Ethridge was killed in a motorcycle crash on westbound Interstate 40 in Carson County, Amarillo, TX.

Authorities indicate that on September 11, a fatal accident occurred when a Yamaha motorcycle crashed in Carson County for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 6:45 in the evening. Investigators say the motorcyclist was traveling west along Interstate 40 when he attempted to navigate a curve in the road and lost control of the bike. Police say the motorcycle overturned and slid along the road.

Officials confirmed the motorcyclist, 49-year-old Joshua Ethridge, suffered severe injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. Ethridge reportedly succumbed to his injuries at a later time.

No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
