Luis Leonardo Luna Killed in Truck Accident on Highway 22 in Navarro County, TX

Navarro County, TX — August 28, 2023, Luis Leonardo Luna was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 7:15 p.m. on Highway 22 in Navarro County.

According to sources, the victim's Dodge Charger was facing south on F.M. 1839 and attempting to turn left and travel east on Highway 22 when the car allegedly collided with a westbound Freightliner semi-truck. The impact reportedly forced both vehicles off the southern side of the highway and the semi-truck purportedly struck a road sign and drove through a barbed wire fence.

Mr. Luna was reportedly pronounced deceased at the crash scene. No other injuries were reported.
