Two Killed in Truck Accident on Daw Collins Rd. in Montgomery County, TX

Montgomery County, TX — August 17, 2023, two people were killed in a single-vehicle truck accident around 11:43 a.m. on Daw Collins Rd. in Montgomery County.

According to investigators, a Mack box truck had just passed the intersection with Jake Goodman Rd. and was traveling north on Daw Collins Road when it somehow veered slightly off the road toward its passenger side. The truck then, for some unreported reason, veered towards its driver-side, completely left the road, and collided with several trees.

Both the driver, 30, and the passenger, 37, in the box truck were reportedly pronounced deceased at the crash site.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
