Two Adults, Nine Children Injured in School Bus Accident in Otoe County, NE

Otoe County, NE — September 12, 2023, two adults and nine children were injured in a school bus accident on Highway 2 in Otoe County, NE.

Authorities say that on September 12, an accident occurred when a school bus and a pickup truck collided on Highway 2 in Otoe County for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened in the morning.

Investigators say the pickup truck struck the rear of the school bus as the bus attempted to turn into a driveway. There is no word on what caused the accident, and authorities have released few details at this time.

Officials confirmed that the drivers of both vehicles, along with nine children, were transported to an area hospital. The injuries were reportedly non-life-threatening.
