Lamesa, TX — September 11, 2023, Anita Sanchez was killed in a pedestrian-auto accident in the 200 block of Bryan Avenue in Lamesa, TX.

Authorities say that on September 11, a fatal accident occurred in Lamesa for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened shortly before 7:00 in the morning.

Investigators say a pedestrian, 76-year-old Anita Sanchez, was struck by a car in the 200 block of Bryan Avenue. The cause of the accident is unclear, as authorities have not released any additional information at this time. Sources say Sanchez was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

No other injuries were reported. The accident is being investigated.
